Tragedy
What i was thinking about the story while
the class was discussing about it, was that
oedipus himself was so stupid, he didn't
even tried to ask if he was adopted or not,
he didn't even bother to ask if Jocasta had
a husband. that's why in the end, its still his lose.
I think that Aristotle's type of plots about tragedy,
only one shows reality for me, it was plot #3, or
the wicker person -> good fortune, something like
every nerd or geek happens in every school, not just
in reality, but also in movies. wherein the geeks and
nerds in the future, are the boss of the bullies.
I have a few good examples in my sleeves to show to
you on every plot Aristotle mentioned, i'll give one
example each:
- Virtous Person -> Downfall = Jimmy Neutron
- Wicked Person -> Downfall = Daston of Beauty &
the Beast
- Wicked -> Good Fortune = Mad Hatter of Alice in
wonderland
- Moderately Good Person -> Downfall = Troy
Oedipus Rex
