While Filming

This was one of the most important technologies that we used while filming. We used the JVC camerarecorder to our footage in High Definition

This piece of equipment went into the Video Camera, the recorded clips were saved on to this.

This was used to transfer the videos from the memory card and allowed us to transfer them on to the iMac

Hard Drive

All of our work was saved on a hard drive. This is where we saved any work upload from memory cards or any edited pieces of work such as our music video.

While Editing

This was the convergence device which we used.

It featured editing programmes which we used to bring our video together

This allowed all the clips to be trimmed to what was needed and placed next to another clip to form a continous video clip.

With final cut you can also add edits and transitions between clips.

This is a new feature that we learned to use. It allowed us to alter the surroundings of an object while keeping the selected object the same, in our case it was having the singer stationary while the people around her movements were sped up.

We used live type to insert any writing.

The text is then saved and imported on to final cut pro.

Fontcase is a program has hundreds of different stylish fonts that I could choose from to use for my digipack. After activating the font it would be avaliable in Photoshop.

This was used to edit pictures and i used it to create my didgipack

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages.

Youtube let us see music videos uploaded, this gave us ideas and inspirations for our own.Also the comments left by others were useful.

Flip Video Camera

This video camera was used to record us while we presented our pitch. It was handy because it had a usb so it could connect straight into the mac so the footage could be uploaded

Google allowed us to search anything (relating to our music video and digipack)

Google images was helpful as it gave us visualisation of anything we seardche such as looking for digipacks

Blogger was used to post all of our work and any thoughts, answers. Also view previous students work.

I used the social network site to get feedback from my friends

Wikipedia gave me background information about the artists that influenced us. I also used it to reseacrh record labels

Vimeo is where all previous videos and our were uploaded. We used it look at previous students work and show others our music video in order to get feedback

As when i bought an album is came with a digital digipack, this allowed me to see different types and how well they worked.

Digital Camera

We used a camera to take photos of on site pictures which showed our mise en scene, or the singer performing, we put these on our blog.

Screen Grabs

Whenever doing anything on the macs we took screen grabs which were then put on blogger. They showed how we used different technology.

We used this program to record what was happening on screen for example we used it to record us learning how to use the 8 point garbage matte on FCP.

Voila

Voila allowed me to record part of a music video from the Youtube which i then embedded in my powerpoint presentation

Wordle takes works that you input and makes them different sizes based on how often they come up.

Powerpoint

To present question one of my evaluation, I used Microsoft Powerpoint. I was able to present my answer with text, images and embedded video clips.

With the online tool, Slideshare, I was able to upload my presentation to get an embedding code so my presentation could be uploaded on to blogger.

Mpeg Streamclip

I used Mpeg Streamclip to convert my videos into the correct format for them to then be uploaded on blogger
