What is 'S'?

• The selling point is a feature in a magazine, or in association with a magazine
• A distinguishing characteristic, e.g 'TOMS shoes', for every pair of shoes bought they give a free pair of shoes to someone in need

What is 'P'?

• The point trying to be put across e.g to inform or persuade

What is 'A'?

• The certain types of people who are going to read the magazine e.g teens, dog owners etc.

What is 'G'?

• The type of magazine/magazine article being produced e.g music, sports, politics etc.
• Then once overall genre is recongised, sub-genres can be made e.g for music- Drum and Bass, Hip-Hop, Jazz etc.
