Requirements:
• Choose a theme. A theme will give unity to your set.
o Examples: a sport, words, holiday, place….
• Develop three thumbnail sketches based on that theme.

Create 3 mini medallions:
#1: decorate by impression (Iron oxide wash)
#2: decorate by addition (Glaze Mix/Choice Finish)
#3: decorate by using under glaze layering (sgraffito)
Minimums
Slab Project must be at least 4’’ in one direction.
• Project must have at least two slab layers
• Project must have at least two of the techniques demonstrated in Project 1
• Project must have a hanger that ties in with the theme of the piece.
