Different Technologies Used

Using technology as made me develop media producer as I have learned how to use different programs to not only create my film however to also promote the film. Before this project I was unable to do most of what I have done throughout construction process of the film.

Planning

At first I found using most of the technology very challenging to use as it seemed like there was so much to focus when using certain programs however after a short while of studying and learning it wasn't as difficult using the technology as it fist was.

Evaluation

Here you can see the storyboard for our film which we inserted into animatic, this is just one of the planning methods that was used to make the teen movie opening.

Another feature that was used to plan the teen movie opening was timetoast to create a production schedule for the film.

For the evaluation of this teen movie opening I used 4 different technologies to present the evaluation of me and my group's work which was camtasia, slidely, powerpoint and this program, prezi.

Before starting this evaluation I had never used camtasia or slidely before.

Research

When it came to research for our film a lot of it was done on the internet by watching different teen movie openings on youtube and finding out what sorts of things making a teen movie entails.

As we were not allowed to use music by well know artists because of copyright issues, the music in our opening came off of soundcloud.

Construction (editing)

A lot went into the editing of our teen film opening which meant we had to use a number of technologies to edit the film such as the programs hand brake, creative commons, motion and clip grab.

Motion was used to create the

ident and production company

at the beginning of the film.

Construction (filming)

The two pieces of equipment that was used for our film was a digital still camera to take pictures of the storyboard and a JVC HD camera which used to film the whole opening.
