They are a collection of people that share the same characteristics or traits, allowing them to be grouped together and to identify a representation of the set people.
Means is a prime example, that shows the division between representation within high schools. And it's clearly seen in the canteen, where the pupils comes together.
With the Character Samantha, we tried to show a person with the background of growing up in a community estate, that's affiliated with her dress sense and kind of persona.
Meanwhile with the other characters we intended to show that they have a social upbringing different from Samantha, evidently with the way they dress as well as behave.

This is how we see people in groups based on factors like: Age/Gender/Social class/Sexuality/Religion/Ethnicity/Disability/Regional identity.

It's clear to see that we have achieved a well representation of the various groups we're tried to show. We managed to achieve a negative representation of Samantha as intended. And showing that she's different from the other girls.
