Melanie Stryder

Mel is a 20 year old female.

She is one of the few survivers

until she was captured and Wanda was

put into her.

She refuses to give up her

mind and fights back for the

man she loves and her brother

She's stubborn, mean and

always gets her way no matter

what.

Uncle Jeb

Mel's uncle, he has a hidden area

where everyone can live safely.

He's kind, loving and open minded

Jared

He's the first person to

find Mel, after the invasion.

He also takes care of them.

And he falls for Mel.

After they join Uncle Jeb

and Wanda comes back

he refuses to accept her.

Jamie

Mel's brother, who loves both

Mel and Wanda and treats them

as equals

Ian

He is of the guys who lives in uncle

Jeb's hidden layer. He begins to fall for

Wanda, not Mel.

Doc

He's the doctor at Jeb's place.

He can't do much becuase of less

medical supply.

He also secretly tries to take souls

out of the bodies but can't sucessfully

do so.

The seeker

She is a soul who tries

to use wanda to get to

find out where the "wild"

humans are hidding

Wanda was inserted into

Mel's body and sees vision

of her Mel's life before she

was made into a host

As Wanda becomes emotionally

attached to Mel, she decides to go

help her find Jamie and Jared

At this time the seeker is

demanding that Wanda go

through Mel's memories and

find out where the wild humans are

Wanda goes against the seekers

will and finds Uncle Jeb and his

hidden layer. Except for Uncle Jeb

and Jamie she isn't accepted there

Slowly things change and she

becomes good friends with the

humans there and also with Mel

Mel wants to be with Jared,

and so does Wanda but she is

also falling for Ian too. Love

square.

The story is Wanda becoming human and Mel

dealing with the loss of her body.

but, because Mel's mind

is still part of her body, you

get to her thoughts too.

The good

It's got a thick plot and

is hard to keep up with at

times due to so much going on.

But that is what makes it so good.

Fast-paced. Happens in a

short amount of time and thus

is impossible to put down

The bad

It's good to see the author

jump away from twilight but

it's got aspects of it.

The ending was a forced happiness.

I recommed to take a break before

the end. Think it over.

Still it's something you will

want to read because it's got a

great story, and memrable characters.

I definalty recomend this to people.
