I was born in China. I was raised in America. I was a “sponge” in China for 15 months( 1 year and 3 months). Then my “sponge” absorbed the culture here in the USA. My culture is American.

I am American and a tiny bit of Chinese. I was born in China and raised in the USA. I was a “sponge” in China for a little bit of time. Right now, I am a “sponge” here in America. My culture came from my parents.
My parents acquired their culture from their parents and it keeps on going on and on. Sometimes culture can change, because we are an individual and when we grow up everything is different around us. I also have glasses to see my culture. When I look at the internet I am seeing different people's culture and what other people think about people's culture. When I look outside at my neighbors I can see how our culture is different than their culture; for example across the street they put decorations up on their house for Christmas. We haven't and we don't except on the Christmas tree.
When I was in China, I was seeing through red glasses and then when I came to America I was looking at everything differently, because I wasn't used to seeing American things. Now I am seeing through a green pair of glasses. If I go to China I will be seeing everything differently like how I was looking at America when I first got here.
