Back to the past of Aznalcollar.

NOW.

At present Aznalcollar has improved: the water is blue,the vegetation is safe and the animals live in the sorroudings again.

The Way out

The toxic waste turned the water red and killed a lot of animals, fishes and plants.

This was Aznalcollar before the disaster. Aznalcollar was a beautiful place next to Doñana, a nature reserve with a lot of animals and plants, but in 1998, a toxic leak from a factory polluted it.
