How does your media product represent particular social groups?

The one everyone wants

to be like, not perfect, but

has everything a girl wants.

The shy away, but perfect,

desirable character, the

one the audience sides with.

In the romcom, ps i love you hilary swank plays the perfect wife, this is like the character i am trying to create with Becca, a dedicated loving female.

I compared these two

as they are the characters

all about the looks, wearing

bright colours, outgoing characters.

The perfect man, desired by all,

over ruling and powerful, stuck

between women.

My film product represents this character as a girl

that would shy away, get on with life to the full but

not stand up to herself, she is fashionable and loving

but doesn't know how nice she really is.

The image here of my character shows just by the

bright colour she wears that she is a cofident,

outgoing character but by her acting in the film

we see she is overly confident by almost all of

her shooting time spent in the mirror getting ready.

This could create a bad message about them and a

role model for the teenage target audience.

From the camera angles

the characters look powerful

connoting men are over-ruling.

The male character represents the casal, trendy boy, one every girl woud notice when walking down the street, a very powerful character, this is shown by some early shots in my film and my example photo of Gerard Butler with a low angle shots.
