Preliminary Filming Timeline

General planning

• Emma, Matt and I did some brain storming, decided on shots we wanted to incorporate.
• Planned what camera to use, how long it would take us to upload footage and were realistic about how long it would take us to edit so we could fit our time limit.

• Calum, Felix and Amy could only film on Thursday, and Matt, Emma and I agreed that we were not entirely ready to film yet.
• As we couldn't do any filming, I put together the permission letter as our actors are under 18 and need parental permission to be on camera.
• We booked in one camera, a tripod and a Macbook for the Thursday evening from 3pm until 5pm, and aimed to take no longer than 2 hours to film and upload the footage onto iMovie.

Preliminary Filming Timeline

We ensured that we had no more filming to do, and as this was the case, all three of us got editing as quickly as possible to speed up the process and ensure that we could move on to our final piece as quickly as possible.

On November 19th we decided to film our

preliminary film.

Matt and I got the camera and the tripod set up.

• Whilst Matt prepped the camera and made sure it was fully charged, I set to work on applying the fake blood to Amy's forehead, putting black cloth in her mouth, smudged her eye makeup to make it look like she had been crying and tyed her hands and feet to make sure her character looked believeable.
• Matt and I each took turns to film, making sure that we each got to film an equal number of interesting angles.
