Slope Project

Finally

And that concludes my project on slope. I hope you enjoyed it.

Difference between Zero slope and Undefined slope

PLEASE CONTINUE you do not have to watch this, this is only an add on. The music will not stop if you click play.

The golden Gate bridge is also a great example of zero slope.

Zero Slope

Education Portal says

This outlet has two zero slopes, one on top, and one on bottom.

"The slope is undefined if the line is vertical. If you think of slope as 'rise over run', then the line rises an infinite amount (goes straight up) but does not 'run' at all."

Zero slope is the constant rate of both x and y. It is a straight line. For example, when you put a penny in a jar, and you just leave it there, when you come back in a week, the penny will probably still be there.

Undefined Slope

The on thing nobody can live without anymore, yes, wifi. Out wifi box is an undefined slope.

Here is a positive slope made from a plant.

My little sister eating a soft taco.

Positive Slope

Undefined slope is a vertical line. The x remains the same but the y rises, meaning, all of the points have the same x-coordinates. For example, the chimney on your house (if you don't have one, you still know what I'm talking about.) A chimney comes above your house in a straight line up and down.

This is a picture of a flower. A flow has a stem, which are going up and down.

About Education says

You just saw two real life examples of positive slopes in East Texas. To the best of my knowledge, positive slope is when both x and y increase at the same time. Positive slope is not always a positive thing like some people think. Let's say the more you eat, the more weight you gain. See, that's not a good thing. What is good is the more coffee you drink, the more energy you have for your busy day ahead of you.

"Positive slope occurs when each variable in a function moves in the same direction. As the values of x increase, the value of y increases."

Introduction

Slope is the change in y over the change in x. There are four types of slope: positive slope, negative slope, zero slope, and finally, undefined [or no] slope. For example, with positive slope, the more you work, the more you are payed. For negative slope, the more coffee you drink, the less sleep you get. For zero slope, whatever your input is, you will have exactly the same output. Let's say you put $2,000 in the bank, you don't take any money out or put any money in, you come back three months later and your balance is still $2,000. Now saving the best for last, undefined slope. Undefined slope is where the x value stays the same, but the y value changes. For example, an elevator moving up and down.

Negative Slope

Negative slope is not always a bad thing like some people would think. In negative slope the x increases while the y decreases. For example, if you walked 0 miles per day, you would loose no weight, but if you walked 5 miles per day you would loose a few extra pounds.

Here we have a MacBook slanted at a negative slope.

An American flag is also an example of negative slope. (depending on the position of the flag.

At this house on this roof, there is a negative slanted slope.
