The Godess of hunting, wild animals, and wilderness.

Also she is the Goddess of childbirth and the protector of young girls.

She has a twin brother named Apollon who is the protector of young boys

Together Artemis and Apollon are the Gods of sudden death and disease

She is one of the important divinities of the Greek civilization.

In art Artemis was depicted dressed in a chiton, with a hunting bow, and also with a quiver of arrows.

She liked to help suffering mortals

Myths about ARTEMIS

After Artemis was born she his said to have help her mother deliver Apollon.

When The hunter Aktaion found her baithing, she turned him into a stag.

When the Aloadai giants tried to attack Olimpos Artemis tricked them into atacking eachother instead.

Agamemnon gave her a sacrifice so the Greek fleet could sail to Troy.
