My Advice
Get to work with a great team!
What I learned...
Step one: Contact Michelle Draper and see if there is an opening.
Step two: Get approval from Jamie (internship coordinator)
Step three: Complete all nessecary paperwork. (There is quite a bit.)
Michelle is NIC RID certified, and has her specialty certification Legal. She has a Masters in Science from University of North Florida. She has done K-12 interpreting, Legal, VRS, and medical. She is supportive of new interpreters and always looking for ways to help or improve.
This internship is one credit worth of hours with the potential for more.
1 credit = 75 hours.
This one credit includes all of the usual internship requirements. (e.g. Journal, website, prezi, internship workshop)
