The image I used for my double page spread has connotations
Central image: I purposly chose an image which conveys attitude as the indie social group I have targeted my product on seem to have an attitude. It also has connotations of fun which relates to my target audience.
I made sure that the images used on the contents page fit in with the indie social group by the clothes that the artists are wearing and the attitude's they show.
Audience Feedback
Before the production of my magazine I gave out questionnaires to people of my targeted social group so that I knew exactly what they wanted from a magazine. From the results I found what colours to use for my front over and contents page, and what artists to use. 'Kings of Leon' was my most popular band so I used this as my atricle for my double page spread as this represents the indie social group.
