Structure of the University

The following documents are issued

to the incoming students:

Exchange Student Record Sheet contains student’s personal information, list of the courses that will be attended and after passing the exams, grades and ECTS points.

The University of Zadar, originated from the former Faculty of Arts, was established in 2002.

The Faculty of Arts in Zadar was established in 1956 as the first Croatian institution of higher education outside Zagreb.

Today, the University of Zadar is an entirely integrated university, consisting of 27 departments. Most of the departments offer study programmes in humanities and social sciences, but several departments offer study programmes also in technical, biotehnical and biomedical sciences.

Elective courses form - students are allowed to choose elective courses from other Departments at UNIZD but they must ask professors for the signature, i.e. approval for the enrolment and participation of the student in class and examination activities. This document should be sent to the International relations Office till the 2 November 2018.

Confirmation (potvrda) for the buss pass - to present at the central bus station; it enables the incoming students to have free bus ticket in the city and to purchase bus tickets for other destinations in Croatia at reduced price.

AAI account, i.e. the user name and password for free of charge wireless connection in all the buildings of the University of Zadar . The request for the AAI account must be signed personally by the students. Password must be changed within 48 hours of the first log in

Library card - At the end of the mobility period the incoming student MUST return all the borrowed books to the University library.

X-card is a student identify card issued by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. The price of the X-card is 50 kunas. Upon the presentation of this identification card the student can enjoy the discount prices in student restaurant.

Student restaurant

Students can take meals in the restaurant Barbacan and the fast-food restaurant Citadela, located in the immediate vicinity of the Old campus (Ruđera Boškovića street 5). The X-card enables the incoming students to eat in the student restaurants at discount prices.
