1913- Karl Friedrich Rapp started making aircraft engines.
1916- Rapp’s company had contract with Prussia and Austro-Hungary to produce 25 large V12 aircraft engines. An austrian engineer named Franz-Josef Popp, directed Rapp’s business.

1965- BMW withdraws from jet engine and focused on cars and motorcycle production.
1976- BMW launches the 6 series coupe.
1977- The 7 series BMW were introduced.
1983- The 5 series were remade, new body style and new engine.
1985- The M5 was the considered the fast car in the world.
1986- BMW introduced the M3
1999- BMW came out with their first suv, the X5.
2000- 2004- BMW continued to produce more cars.
2005- BMW started the production of the 5th gen 3 series.
