In 1897 a baby girl named Amelia was born. She did not know it yet but she would would become the idol that inspired millions.

As Amelia got older, she grew to love flying and planes. She received her first pilot's license in 1922 at the age of 25 and had it for so many years that she had to keep renewing it time after time she she pursued her airborne dream.

And in October of 1922 Amelia broke her first record by setting an altitude limit, flying higher than any woman has flown before. She encouraged others to test their boundaries and limits and by testing her own boundaries and limits she broke many more records and sometimes won awards for them like the Distinguished Flying Cross, which was the first one given to a woman.

"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward. " -Amelia Earhart

"Please know that I am quite aware of the hazards. Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they fail, their failure must be but a challenge to others."-Amelia Earhart [Last letter to her husband before her last flight.]

In 1937, Amelia Earhart stuns the world by becoming the first person to fly around the world...

In 1942 after President Truman signed the Woman's Armed Services Integration Act, thousands of women signed up to be a part of the Air Force.

"Women must pay for everything. They do get more glory than men for comparable feats. But, they also get more notoriety when they crash." -Amelia Earhart

The New Timline of Amelia Earhart and her impact...

Amelia was not one of them for it was her desire to keep acheiving new heights, however she did not stop inpiring women and girls to go into avaiation which made women want, organize, and achieve more things as a unit that would have taken a lot longer to accomplish if they did not have a strong role model to look up to and achieve the strength needed
