Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The reason why we were drawn to Texas Chainsaw Massacre is because for part of our sound track we want to include recordings of a chainsaw which will give the audience an idea of what kind of murder and torture that will comence. The main male villian who comits all the murders is a great influence for our main character, and we shall try to create the same profile, to give off the same terrifying effect we recieve when watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Hostel
The reason Hostel is another one of our influences is due to the grusome horror and scenarios that take place throughout the film. The idea of men capturing and torturing innocent people is the idea we have for our character Katie. Therefore we watched Hostel closely and explored the range or camera angles and shots that work well for this type of film, without looking unrealistic or too grusome for the audience to see.
Hard Candy
Hard Candys story line is one we particuarly like as it only uses to characters throughout the film yet still manages to draw the audience in and keep the audience suspence going. This is just one idea we may consider when creating out teaser trailer and synopsis for our film.
