Most men work as taxi drivers in the city, women work on housing, farming and taking care of the children.
Some kids attend school, others stay with their moms and learn life skills from them, never getting a formal education.

Every child in the school received a pencil box with writing supplies, a toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste. Kristy and I visited every classroom, and with the help of Luz, gave a crash course on dental health and proper procedures on brushing teeth.
