Summer Highlights 2013
I went to Carriage Hills again with my brother, my mom and my dad, this time for four days. One day when we were there, two of my cousins came up. When they came my cousins, my brother and I went to Shanty Bay Go Carting. This was a new experience for me because i had never been go carting before. We also went swimming a lot when we were there. On the last day we were there my mom, my dad, my brother and I went mini golfing. The trip was very enjoyable.
This summer has been very entertaining. I have had a lot of fun spending time with my family, and experiencing new things. I do miss summer but I am happy to be back to the school routine.
This summer I went to Tottenham where I went on a steam train with my cousins and grandparents. When we were on the train, my grandmother told my cousins and I that when she immigrated to Canada she took a train just like the one we were on. She said that being on the train brought back a lot of memories from when she was a child.
To start off the summer i went to Carriage Hills Resort with my brother, mom, and dad for three days. While were there we swam and played board games. When we were there we saw a huge, bright orange moon.

This summer I went to the Art Gallery of Ontario with my brother and my mom. I thought the AGO was very nice. My mom really likes art so it was great to see that she enjoyed it.
Right after my trip to Carrige Hills I went to a concert. This was an interesting experience because I had never been to a concert before. I really liked it and I hope I can go to more concerts in the future.
I feel like this summer has gone by very quickly, even though it has been very eventful. I have spent a lot of time with my family this summer, and it has been very amusing. I was very happy to end school and have time to relax, but it has gone so fast and we've been so busy that it feels like I have not relaxed at all.
To end the summer I went to the Science Centre. When I was there I saw a film in the IMAX Dome, called Born to Be Wild. The film was about two women who raise wild orphaned animals. I think it was a good documentary.
