Who would be your target audience for your media product?
The target audience is aimed between the age groups of 16-19 year old. This is because i am able to relate to that age group and would be easier for me to make my product aimed at them, as i know what things attract them and what they are interested in.
Typically my magazine not be aimed at a specific age group as i wanted my media product attract all genders. However i feel that with the theme and the pictures i have used it would attract more of a female audience rather than an male audience. As the style of music that my magazine is, it would appeal more to the female readers as it appears that is the style and genre of music females would listen to and be interested in reading about.
I have tried to make my product as unisex as i could, so it would appeal to all genders. I did this by carefully choosing the colours and the type of fonts i would use within the product. I started off using a range of pale colours, but it didnt really go with the genre of the magazine and wouldnt appeal to a male audience so i changed the colours to three main colours: Black, White and Red, which worked well witht he genre of the magazine and appealed to the male audience because black is seen as a more masucline colour for some people. I feel the colours and the fonts i used are modern so would atrract the modern day youth.

Finally...
By creating this target audience i was able to creat my product to suit be, as i am within that age group and i was able to creat something that i wouldbe be attracted to as well as other people my age. I feel the target audience was suitable for my media product.
