-Chlorine (To strengthen the colour of the firework)
-Binder ( To hold the firework together)
Legend has it that nian
was frightened off by the
firecrackers and never came
to harm the village again.
The villagers rejoyced and
celebrated and held a festival
which is what we now know
as Lunar New Year.
They take many forms
to produce four primary
effects- sound, light, smoke
and floating materials
The loud noise it
produced was meant to
scare the "nian" a monster
that the villagers
were afraid of.
They are a class of explosive
pyrotechnic devices that are
designed to burn with coloured
flames or sparks
For aesthetic and
entertainment purposes.
Used for celebrations
and festivals
These aincient
"fireworks" are still
in use today as what
we call "firecrackers"
Fireworks are believed to be invented in China.
