"Unfortunately, while many governments agree on the need for CCS, they appear reluctant to take the necessary decisions to drive ahead its demonstration and deployment in the necessary time frame.
The roadmaps that should result from the Bellona Environmental CCS Team (BEST) project could provide an important input to the decision-making processes in many EU Member States and, eventually, in the world at large.
Moreover, Bellona’s work to objectively communicate the environmental aspects of the entire CCS value chain will be highly relevant in our common efforts to increase public awareness of CCS. I wish it every success in this important task.”
