Emberley uses parts of a circle, or their fractional peices, to create tons of fun objects.
Think of a circle as a pizza pie.
Now, each slice of that pizza we just looked at
is equal to a fractional part.
So...
If we divide our pie/circle
into 4 slices what is the fractional equivilant?
1/4 or one quarter
Now, divide our slices 1 more time...
If you said 1/8 or one-eighth you are right! :)
if we divide our circle into 2 parts we get 2 halves or 1/2 (of our pie).
