Mythology in Medieval Europe

Extreamly Rare only used for the worst crimes like murder and treason.

When people where beheaded it was useually not done in public and only given to the rich.

The most common form of execution used for the death penalty was hanging and very rarerly would they use burning at the stake. (useually performed after hanging)

Back then they did not have any printing presses so they had to copy the books all by hand.

This made books very rare and valueable so they would lock them on the shelf so no one could steal them.

Myth 3: Starving Poor

Back then there where no starving poor, the peasants would have had a bowl of fresh porrige and bread daily along with beer to drink.

Poultry, chicken, ducks, pigeons, and geese were not uncommon because if you lived back then you would most likely see it on one of their dinner tables.

Each day they would also have an assortment of dried or cured meats, cheeses, and fruits and vegetables from their area.

Back then that idea flourished, however that was not true.

This is not true all you have to do is think of St Joan of Arc. She was a young women who was given full control of the French army.
