CAMERA WORK

Good:

- Effective use of camera angles

- Great variety of shots

- Good continuity in techniques such as match-on-action

Bad:

- Before entrance to building the camera shaked

- Use of mid-shot onto torso could have been varied with tilts/pans/etc

- More variety of angles and techniques for the dialogue

- Transistion of the "what?!" at the end needs to be more smoother. It looked abrupt and out of place

TITLE SEQUENCE

Good:

- Nice and subtle title sequence but effective

- Sophistocated and formal, in accordance to the conventions we are trying to achieve

- Sustains continuity of rest of the film

Bad:

- Did not look significant

- Too simple

CONVENTIONS

Good:

- Conveyed a good sense of proffesionalism which is good for the secret service themed narrative

- Appropiate pace in most of the film

- Mise-en-scen: setting of bedroom/blood/suits/surroundings

- Authenticity was good

Bad:

- Blood needs to be more authentic

- Confusion as why it was black and white in the beginning

- Dialogue does not comply with the conventions of a secret service type narrative. Was too colloquioal

- Pink alarm clock inhibits authenticity of beggining

GENERAL POINTS

Good:

- Choice of locations was good

- Presented narrative well

Bad:

- Framing was slightly slanted, unproffesional

- Fast pace cuts distorted sense of depression and slow nature

- Music sounded too unnerving and tended more towards the horror-type
