Coping with TV

Some Lesson Ideas

By Bob Peterson

Thesis: I Came to Realize that Because of TV'S Negative Impact on Children, We Must Teach Children How to Cope with Television

During No-TV Week, students, faculty, and family members are asked to not watch TV.

Students first discover how much times they spend on watching TV per week.

Then, they decide what other activities they could do in the time they would be watching TV.

For example, they could interview a family member or friend who remembers life before TV.
