Nowadays videogames are very realistic and the invention of virtual reality shows how in the future videogames will be almost impossible to difference from real life, due to their high quality graphics.

Nowadays the most important videogames are: Fifa Fortnite or Destiny, and a lot of companies are known for the developing of games, such as: EA, Epic Games or Ubisoft

On 2000 Microsoft developed the Xbox. After that even more videogames were developed and something new started to happen, some videogames started to be exclusive to one console.

Due to this there were more videogames and the quality of them improved.

During the 21st century videogames have changed and developed a lot.

On 2000 Nintendo and Playstation were the most important consoles developers and started to put a lot of money into developing games. We can highlight games like Super smash Brosh Browl, God of War, Wii sports or call of duty.

After arcade game consoles appeared and someone after buying a console and a game didn’t need to pay more. This made videogames easier to play and with this the videogame industry grew up .

On the 80’ tetris was the most important videogame. On the 90’ new games and sagas appeared such as Super Mario, Pokemon, Final Fantasy or Tomb Raider.

Although the first videogame was developed on 1948 it wasn´t important at all, but when the arcade videogames arrived to the world almost everyone knew about them.

Arcade games were played in a cabinet were you had to pay for playing each game.

We can differenciate some types of videogames such as: arcade, sport, battle royal,MMORPGs …

Nowadays there is a multiplayer option that lets you play with anyone that plays that game.
