The Setting

The setting should consiste of a photograph

or photographs of some recognizable part(s)

of the CWA Campus.

The Creature

The creature should consist of an image created using traditional non-digital tools, scanned into the computer. It may then be manipulated in Photoshop.

The Title and Text

The title and text of the poster must be created in Adobe Illustrator and then imported into Photoshop. Illustrator will allow you much greater freedom to manipulate your text.

Project Parameters

• Your final poster must be 11”x17”, CMYK, and 300 dpi.
• You must utilize Adobe Illustrator for the type.
• You must initially create your creature with traditional non-digital tools.
• The overall mood of your poster should be on the lighter, silly side and as the instructor I reserve the right to ask you to change the design as needed.
• Save your final poster design as a PDF.
• Title your file using the following example: bhutcheson_movieposter_100507.pdf
• Please turn this project into my Drop Box on the Deneb server.
