Opening
We decided to create a discrete opening
sequence as this type of sequence appealed us the most. Our film opens with several extreme close ups of inanimate objects as well as scenes of our main character being tortured.

The genre ofcourse is thriller and the sub-genre we have chosen is psychological.

Screen Gems would be our production company as they have produced films such as The Stepfather, a psychological thriller, the sub-genre we have decided on.
Target Audience
Meet Elliott, a 17 year old teenager from London and attends a local college. He studies Psychology, Biology, Maths and History. His favourite past time is going to the cinemas with friends or renting out films to watch with friends. He lives in a flat with his parents and older brother.
Our film would appeal to Elliott as his favourite past time is mainly watching films around the thriller genre as well as being a psychology student where he studies about people's mental states.
