I used the programme Adobe premier pro for the editing of my two minute opening:
- Exporting the files took an extremely long time, either quality was poor or you would have to wait days/
-It was very simple and easy to use, the basic functions were made very obvious.
-Adding music and video to the timeline was also very easy.
By using Adobe after effects i managed to make idents for my 2 minute film opening:
- It was very easy to use, both adding photos and extra effects was very simple.
- There were difficulties adding sound specifically to the idents, if sounds were wanted it was very time consuming.
- It was very simple to export and add to my 2 minute opening on Adobe premier pro.
I used Youtube to upload videos i wished to add to my blog:
- Upload times were very long, often over 10 hours of waiting per video.
- It was very easy to manage once a video was uploaded, things such as editing titles were simple.
- Adding annotations to videos was also simple, this allowed the option to give the viewer extra information.
- This allows for work to be done both in and out of school, it offers a place to easily upload work for everyone to see and also somewhere safe from losing it.
- It is very simple and easy to use, straight after making my account i was posting my first blog.
- You are able to upload both photos and videos to your blogs
The camera i used was one i borrowed from the school, it was a Nikon D3100:
- This camera, along with the attachments was very easy to use, there was no need to be told how to use it.
- The audio quality was very good, you could hear everything very clearly.
- The video quality was also very good, so good infact i ended up rendering to a lower quality.
Overall i used a wide range of technology in order to film, edit, plan, and upload my 2 minute film opening, in my opinion each of these technologies had their ups and downs but overall they are very good.
