I chose this image as it is real footage I took at an Avril Lavigne Concert. Due to the fact that it was night time, the main part of the image illuminates effectively. I put this into my contents page under 'Avril Lavigne Concert' the colours also match my colour scheme.

I chose this image as my key image on my front cover as the mise-en-scene of the guitar, dark clothes and big fringe matched the genre of metal rock. As well as this she is an attractive girl(gaze theory) so an audience would be drawn into it.

I used this image of ryan screaming because it matched the genre of music, it is also effective how he is leaning forward as it is the exact position you would be in if screaming. He also has the iconic long hair which would make him fit in with the genre.

I chose this picture as it has action in it which would catch an audiences attention. Along with this I think the position she is in with the guitar and bass looks realistic.

I chose this image as the use of vandalism expresses the aggression an harshness of the music. It also matches the story of hating school, and the fact that the image has been taken mid action is effective.

I chose this image as I was putting it under a 'lost innocence fashion' section in the contents page, here you can clearly see their clothes through the use of a diagonal line. I also like the fact that their is a warn out garage behind them, this is a typical place for images within this genre to be taken as it is rough and represents the music.

Once again i chose this image as it is real footage of a real band member. I liked the cool blue lighting as it makes his faces brighter than the rest of the image.Gaze theory is also used here as he is an attractive artists which would attract an audience.

I chose this image as the angel it is taken at helps to show the artists face and the writing on the board. It also matches my theme of being rebellious and disliking school.

I chose the image because it is a low shot, she is looking down at the camera making her more dominant just like the music and their personalities. Along with this I liked how the sole of the boot looks bigger than the rest of the image.

I chose this image particularly because it is a clear shot with no crowds arms in the way. I liked the use of mise-en-scene to help represent the genre, she has graphics on her top(a lion, dominant animal just like the music) and she has a heavy use of eyeliner. I also like how the image has action through singing and playing the guitar.

I chose this image because I liked the way the camera is looking down at them.There clothing is also clear here and the colours match my colour scheme, The fact that it was a landscape image was a bigger factor to why I used it as it fitted in well on my contents page without having to stretch it too much because a stretched protrait picture would look awful.

I chose this image as it is mid-action of playing the drums which would attract an audience. Also the use of drums and the man wearing a vest matches the stereotypes of the metal/rock genre.I also like the colour that the lights in the concert have created.

I chose this image as the brick wall is an effective background as they stand out against them. A brick wall is also a common background use. I like how they aren't all looking at the screen as it creates a mellow vibe to the image.

I chose this image as it has action it which would attract an audience because it wouod remind them of cincerts they've been to, it also gives an audience an insight into what they m issed. I like how she looks passionate about what shes singing,. Along with this their is another band member in the background, this is good as it shows shes not just a solo singer plus the electric guitars a visual here.

I chose this image because it is a clear shot and the eye level is equal. The plain background is effective as she stands out against it along with this you can clearly see the 'F' on the work.

I chose to use this image as it is handy to use when I have solo images from the green screen. It is also a clear shot of the stage and the red curtains match my colour scheme.

I chose this picture as it is live footage of a band, it shows the performer engaging with the audiences. The lighting is also effective as he stands out compared to the crowd and the steam is shown through the lighting.

I chose this image as it's a live shot that I took at a gig. Having action in the image will engage an audience as it will remind them of live bands they've seen. The red lighting is also effective as it matches my colour scheme.
