Research and Planning
I used the search engine Google, to expand my knowledge when researching short film, I also used Google’s Image Search to find images of people whom I then created characters and character profiles. I also used YouTube to find short films to used and do textual analysis of.
The Photoshop Work
And this means that of course, when writing concepts and ideas, I would often draft and save them, as I updated before posting them in Blogger. Because Blogger is the site which I used to host all of my work. It has a clear and adaptable layout which made it a perfect choice for the presentation of work.
The Leaflet
In the beginning, we were set task which involved things like creating a leaflet in Adobe InDesign, a picture in Adobe Photoshop, as well as creating a short film from a random stimulus, which was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. During this research, we learned how to use most product in the Adobe Creative Suite package. This helped me to choose which software would use when creating the short film.

Throughout, After Effects was used when I was creating title for potential films. I used this program in
lots of different ways when creating
these titles. Including, but not limited to,
manipulating shape layers and
animating still-images.
Before we had a clear idea of what kind of film to produce, I went out and did some location scouting, looking for interesting places which could spark ideas. I would use my iPhone to take pictures and make notes, occasionally posting to my blog on it through the Blogger Application.
