The Process

Digipak
In reality, when a record label the size of Hopeless Records releases an album for a band, they may release music videos for the singles and potentially release further music videos for the songs that do well once the album is released. Obviously they will make the album's digipak for when it is released but first they will make digipaks for the singles that will correlate with the style of the album's digipak. Finally, a magazine advert will be made by a third party company who may not have anything to do with the record label, this magazine advert will conventionally have the same colour schemes and themes.

The reviews are from other well known magazines/reviewers that review a lot of music in the Punk genre and that is why I chose to use them.

Magazine
My focus was not on the magazine that the advert was going to be in because I did not believe this would have affected the actual advert so I chose to link it to the digipak. I did this by using the exact same colours from my digipak. My background, album title and band name were all in the colours from the digipak, although to fit convention I had the band name bigger than the album and therefore the colours were switched from the digipak - but they were still the same.
Conclusion
All three of my products link together heavily through the colour schemes, meaning they can be easily distinguished from products of another 'package'. Furthermore, I use the same style fonts in all three products to give anchorage to this brand link that I have created. Finally, I also made sure to include themes from one of the products in another product, hence the live performance in the logo and the natural imagery in the digipak.

The image of a live gig in the logo directly links to the live performance in the music video.

The image also alludes to the idea of nature and nature is a heavy theme in the music video.

Target Audience
From my audience research already knew that my primary target audience was going to be females aged between 16 and 24. However, I also had a secondary target audience of all genders aged between 30 and over.
