If all copies of an item you need are on loan to other readers, you can place a hold and we will notify you by e-mail when it becomes available. You can place holds on books on Libary search :
Holds are shelved in the short loan collection of the library.
When you receive the email saying your book (hold) is ready for collection it will contain a collection reference number which the hold is labelled with.
You can issue your book using the self-service machine, also in the short loan area.
You can purchase hot and cold drinks and cold food in the cafe. Hot food is not allowed in the Library, and you must recycle your rubbish using the bins provided.
There are PCs on Level 1 and 2 of the library
You can use the PCs in the library to:
Undergraduate students can borrow up to 15 items (including 3 Short Loans/DVDs).
You can take out and return books using our self issue machines.
You can keep books for:
Normal loans = 3 weeks
One week loans = 1 week
Three day loans = 3 days
