When you do land your dream job, remember all the work you did to get there and apply the same attitude to your day-to-day work ethic. This will make you a model employee and you will go places.
After your gap analysis you will have a list of skills and qualifications you need to attain for your dream job. Firstly, are these realistic? There are differences between ambitious and unrealistic.
