Camerawork:
Camera shots and angles:
Interviews are framed either to the left or right of the screen.
The camera shots include close ups, big close ups, medium close ups and tilted frames.
Camera Movement:
A variety of camera movements are used including tracking shots, pans and zooms. Hand held cameras are used at times and focus pulling is used as well.
Mise-en-scene:
Chromakey is used in the background of all interviews. Front Projection is also used as it puts the interviewee in the game.
The creator is put in the computer screen of the game.
Sound
Music is used throughout the whole of the documentary.
A voice over is also used, this is a male speaker using standard English. This is done intetntionally as this is a stereotypical game player.
Editing
The majority of the editing is cutting or the addition of fast forward motion.
At one point a man is edited into the computer screen and Lara Croft shoots the camera changing captor.
Archive Material:
Archive material includes footage of the Lara Croft game and film, a Nike advert, magazine covers, websites and parts of an Angelina Jolie interview.
Graphics
Conventional graphics are used. These show the interviewees name and relevance to the topic. The name is larger than the relevance. The graphics also add to the title of the programme, for example 'Angelina Jolie acts That Thing'
