Male or female audience?

Response

We are aiming the thriller at both male and female audiences. This is because both female and male viewers watch thrillers and also we had a mixed gender response in our questionnaire.

When I uploaded the video to Facebook we were given a wide range of response's. You can see these responses from one of my previous blogs called 'Feedback from peers'.

Target audience

Our target audience for our thriller is 18-25. This is because when I created a questionnaire and the responses we got where mainly from the age group 16-20 and 21-30. Therefore we decided to aim our thriller at 18-25 year olds.

How we are targeting our audience

Why this age group?

We will be using many different ways of targeting our audience, for example social media. You can see me go into more depth in my previous evaluations.

We decided to choose this age group because they are most likely to go out and watch a thriller movie. We also are making the movie a 15, so we cant aim it at younger children. A 15 year old can still watch the movie but we are aiming the movie at 18-25 year olds.
