Queen are a British rock band created in London in 1971. Their members are:
Freddie Mercury (singer)
Brian May (guitarist)
Roger Taylor (drummer)
John Deacon (bass guitarist)
Freddie Mercury s life
His real name
is Farrokh Bulsara.
He was born
in Tanzania
in 1946.
As a songwriter, Mercury composed many hits.
He was best known as the vocalist of the rock band Queen
Queen´s history
The group was very successful in Britain in the mid-1970s with albums such as "Sheer Heart Attack" in 1974 and "A Night at the Opera" the following year. This latest album was fantastic and it had a significant impact on the United States until the mid-1980s, and it had a large repertoire of hits. Queen was important for its musical diversity, and it was considered a highly influential band in the development of hard rock and heavy metal, incorporating elements of glam rock, progressive rock, folk, blues and pop.
Now, the band´s got two members less because Freddie Mercury died in 1991 and his partner Deacon left the group.
