George was a political giant. He was involved in many offices and delegations throughout his life.
George worked himself harder than I would think humanly possible. In three years he had made up for the ten wasted ones. He became a renowned lawyer across Virginia. He always remembered his mothers council, and would never take a unjust case. He became known as "The Honest Lawyer"
The Wythe family was a rich one. After his parents died he was left a fortune. What would you use your money for? Guess what he did?
George had never taken his mothers moral teachings to heart. When he was left to his own with money he started a life of pleasure. He would party and waste his time simply for his own personal gratification. If you'd seen him then you wouldn't have thought that he would become one of the greatest founding fathers.
Around when he was 30 he decided to change his life around. He finally took his mothers words to heart, he began to study to become a lawyer. But until his dying day he wished he had not wasted all the time he had. In his later years he said
"Time Once Lost, is Lost Forever."
He had a great life, but he also had some very hard Challenges. In this presentation we will discuss four areas of his life that I think built who he is, and what has inspired me to become better.
That will lead us to our next topic. His life from age 20 to age 30
First off we'll talk about how awesome his family was
What did/can we learn from him?
Now for his glory days!
George had an incredible childhood. He was homeschooled by his mother (his father died when he was very young). She was focused on classic literature and taught him almost all topics from those great works.
