We got lots of inspiration from many different examples of stained glass pictures online and in class.
After we finished cutting out the design, we started gluing the cellophane.
Once we were finished the design, we started working on the prototype.
This is our completed prototype.
Our team Goal:
We hope all students of St.Simon enjoy our stained glass window. We are proud of our great teamwork and appreciate our finished product.
To design a stained glass window, you need to use geometric transformations and lines of symmetry.
Some geometric transformations include rotations (turns), translations (slides) and reflections (flips).
Here is the finished product:
We then started cutting out the design on black paper for our enlargement.
Our group then started working on the design manipulating shapes in PowerPoint.
We needed to make our final copy 55cm x 66cm to fit the window in the downstairs hallway of the school.
Here is our finished design.
