Everytime you see a new secret you hear two drum beats and then a cymbol beat. this means that everytime you hear that you expect to see another new secret revealed.

Editing

At the start fast paced straight cut editing is use to quickly

show the audience what to expect this only lasts 1 second.

You then see the siner quickly and then it cuts to some more of the cards quickly for about another second. This also happens at the end as a review of all the secrets. this also goes with the rest of the song as it is a fast pace song which goes with the genre.

Narrative and Performance

Through out the video, it cuts between different people revealing their secrets through cards and the band performing in a garage with the secrets on the wall. Every time a new secret is reveled it then cuts back to the band. The band consists of a drummer, two base players and the lead singer. This is typical of the genre. In All-American Rejects the lead guitarist is also the lead singer.

Mise en scene

The band are all wearing dark clothes but then the people revealing their secrets are all wearing bright vibrent colours. This is stereotypical of a rock band.

Throught the song you see the sunlight going through into where they are performing, this could give you a clue that they might be performing in a garage.
