Confused?!

  • Buckingham goes to jail! OH NO!
  • The king gets angry at the Cardinal who is taxing the people without the Kings Permission! Bad Cardinal!
  • The King meets Anne Bullens and falls in love with her! This could be a problem because the King is MARRIED.
  • Buckingham has a trial and ends up getting his head chopped off!
  • King is trying to decide whether to divorce the Queen or not because he loves Anne and the Cardinal tells the King that the marriage of the King and Queen may be illegal. (oh snap.)
  • The queen finds out and completely freaks out because she thinks she's been a super awesome wife
  • The King divorces her anyways.
  • So the Cardinals are talking to Queen Katherine. Who is being a total baby because she thinks she has no friends and all that crap.
  • The Dukes and the Lords are all bashing the Cardinal because he deserves it! He's terrible! But anyways, they want to get rid of him because he has too much influence on the King.
  • And because of her annoying babyish whining, the Queen is renamed Princess Dowager.
  • Turns out the Cardinal wrote a letter to the pope saying not to allow the divorce between the King and Queen until the King got over his thing for Anne Bullens.
  • But Henry has already married Anne, WHAT NOW CARDINAL?! Henry also intercepted the letter to the pope.
  • So the King and the Cardinal are talking, and at the end of their conversation, the King hands the letters he found.
  • The Cardinals carrer is over! FINALLY!
  • Anne has a coronation to be Queen!
  • Everybodies there and they all talk about how wonderful Anne is.
  • They also notice that the Kings attendant, Gardiner, doesn't like the King's buddy Cranmer so much.
  • The Princess Dowager(the old Queen) finds out that the Cardinal has died and wants to know how. After being stripped of his title, the guy got sick and died broke. (THANK THE LORD)

The Princess (the old Queen) decides that she won't speak badly of the Cardinal anymore.

  • Then she dies.
  • Anne's giving birth! HOLY MOLY!
  • Gardiner really doesn't like her and thinks she should die for the safety of the Kingdom
  • He HATES Cranmer, the Kings good friend, and is having a trial against him the next day.
  • The King finds out there's going to be a trial and has a little talk with Cranmer
  • The King gives Cranmer his ring just in case the people might try to cart him off to jail.
  • And the baby is a girl! Only the crazy old lady tells the King it's a boy. (he's SEXIST) I don't know why she thought lieing to the king was a good idea....
  • So Cranmer has his trial, the King and a guy with the last name of BUTTS(hahahahahaha) sit in a window where no one can see them.
  • They try and cart Cranmer off to jail, but he pulls out the Kings ring and is like. BAM! The King and Butts come and scold the people judging Cranmer
  • Then baby Elizabeth gets baptized!
  • Yahoo!

Better?!

  • The play never says that treasons charged against Buckingham were actually false
