Nutrient Imbalance and Manure

One main problem with feedlots is that there tends to be a nutrient imbalance because a large part of the nutrients consumed by animals does not leave the ground as meat. Most nutrients fed to animals remain on the farm in manure. Another problem with feedlots is there tends to be an excess of manure in the one place, and farmers have to figure out how to deal with that.
