We're rolling out an entirely new software system with useful features to help you better search for jobs!
Introducing the New McCombs Job Board!
There are four university-operated job boards in which you can search for or post positions targeted to students and/or alumni from the McCombs School of Business.
AccessUT
HireALonghorn
On-Campus Recruiting System/Symplicity (OCR)
McCombs Job Board (MJB)
Two of these are open to
all applicants at the university.
The other two job boards are exclusively accessible to students and alumni from the
McCombs School of Business.
HireALonghorn
Only open to current students
Intended for non-professional positions
Must be paid part-time jobs that meet the federal minimum wage requirements
Professional positions
Open to all colleges and schools within the university
Open to third-party recruiters
AccessUT
Paid positions can include salaried, hourly or commissioned-based pay.
On-Campus Recruiting (OCR)
Only for currently enrolled students
Open to full-time positions or 10-week+ full-time summer internships
Must be salaried, non-commission based positions

Expanded Company Profiles
Companies can now share more information about their work environment, compensation, benefits, etc with you. You can also search for active postings within a company.

These features are available on the 'Employers' tab.
Mobile Access
Use the McCombs Job Board on the go! Access it on your smart phone or tablet.
Just like in our current OCR system, you will now be able to save resumes and submit them to postings online- all within the MJB.

Using Prezi
In this presentation we are going to go over some of those new features.
First, let's quickly review all of the recruiting tools available at the McCombs School of Business.
You will need to go to the new log-in site to create your account.

The registration takes less than two minutes to complete.
Document Library
You may also upload cover letters into the MJB.
Cover Letter
View Application History
See what positions you have applied for and when by going to your 'Applications' tab. From this page, you can also withdraw your application from active postings.

Recommended Jobs
This new feature will show you postings that might be of interest to you by using an algorithm that looks at the your profile, previous applications, and other key information.

These postings will appear in the 'Recommended Jobs' sub-tab.
Some of these job boards may be useful to you as a job seeker and some as an employer.
