The judicial, legislative, and executive branches of government embody the means of the people. The executive branch cannot make change alone, but with the agreement of other branches, they create the policies, and shape of America.

For Example: In the monopolies bust, Teddy Roosevelt worked with the branches of goverment to pass policies that prevented companies from engaging in the 'slaughter of cattle, sheep, and hogs in the preparation of dressed food and meat food products'.

Challenges
To sustain change, help from a body of people (system) is needed. Without the influence, aid, and support from others, one man by himself is not enough.
Barack Obama supports the GoGreen movement, by creating policies that abide by more energy efficient resources. His reasoning for creating change is to provide a better future- not only for America, but his family as well.
Teddy Roosevelt's Square Deal was a program based around consumer protection, natural resources, and corperation control. The program began with thoughts and a mindset that helped create change within America. It was the way that everyone was involved that helped contribute to the way the system functioned; for better or for worse.
