How have I used 'technology' in my film?
Other technology we used are iMacs and iPhones.
We used iMacs to write down and plan details and ideas for our film during the planning phase and then used various softwares such as final cut pro, blogger etc throughout.
Our group also used iPhones to communicate between us when not in college, to link up to do recording for example.

So why is 'technology' beneficial?
How have I used 'technology' in my film?
Technology is very important in our daily lives; it makes us do things in an easier way. For example, instead of walking for 5 miles, we can just commute via transport such as a car or train. It is also good to broadcast information, for example showing a power point in a classroom to students via white board and computer; or even broadcasting adverts on big screens in central London.
People who really benefit from technology are the disabled, it makes their life much much easier and liveable, an example being a person with diabetes can have a check up to determine his/her blood level and keep them at a healthy rate.
An example of technology being used for a disabled person, it makes him run and therefore live his dream of being an athlete.
During the production phase of making our film opening a flip camera was often used to create a quick and brief outline of what type of shots we were going to use, for example long shot of marcus...going into a mid shot from an angle and so on.
It was very beneficial as we could record our plan for the film instead of having to do the traditional story board method, which is often not accurate and very basic, also it doesn't include factors such as frame size and so on as it's all imaginary.

How have I used 'technology' in my film?
The main technology we used during our production of the film was the JVC Cam-Recorder. It is a decent sized Cam-recorder and when used correctly can record things in high quality. It is fairly easy to use and easy to transport around the college and so on.
However one major issue we faced constantly is the Tripod that was connected with it, as we wanted a still camera. The tripod kept on going off balance and therefore our recording was tilted, easily recognized therefore needing to record again and again.
