Purpose
This presentation is intended to give students support in identifying the properties of rocks, comparing mock rocks with real ones, and to consider why geologists must identify the properties of rocks being studied. I designed the presentation to be used as a student learning center. At the end of the investigation, students are expected to classify rocks based on the properties of color and texture. I created this Prezi to guide students through first step of their investigation.
