Who are the characters? Which are important to the action of the story? What do readers need to understand about them?

Responses

How does the character respond to or feel about the initiating action, the attempts, and the result?

Results

Examples: Cinderella feels sad and gives up. Cinderella goes to the ball and falls in love.

What are the results of the character’s attempts? Does the result initiate a new action?

Her stepmother refuse, and Cinderella gives up.

(New attempt) The fairy godmother makes it possible, and Cinderella goes.

(New result) Cinderella goes and falls in love with the Prince and vice-versa.
